As a security measure, all roads leading to State House were blocked, including a section of State House road, University Way, Processional way, Arboretum Road, and others.

Despite the increased security presence, traffic was reportedly flowing normally, and people were moving about as usual.

In Kisumu, however, many businesses remained closed along Oginga Odinga Street and other nearby streets.

The overall situation appeared to be tense, with authorities taking precautionary measures to prevent potential unrest.
