Nairobi Lady Recalls Drinking Toilet Water to Survive After Being Imprisoned in Egypt: “I Was Weak”

A beautiful young lady has opened up about her challenges living as a foreigner in Egypt.

Irene Lavenda recalled the torture she experienced in the North African country where she went to seek greener pastures.

Lavenda claimed she found herself in prison after her boss accused her of selling her wedding ring.

    Egyptian employer calls psychic

Speaking to Gossipa2z.com, the lady said she had been mistreated by her boss and the boss’s close relative before they involved the police.

“It was one of the most brutal and painful experiences ever. They were hell-bent to make my life miserable for something I did not do. My employer insisted I deliver the ring, which I did not even know what it looked like. We were two nannies, but the employer insisted I was the one who took it. She even called a psychic who claimed I was the thief,” she said.

Lavenda shared that she spent at least 18 days in prison, where she faced unbearable moments as she hoped to be freed.

    I prayed to God, Lavenda

She recalled being very weak and smelly as she missed food and taking a shower for days in prison.

“There was a time I was too weak that I had to crawl to the toilet and quench my thirst and hunger with its water, then crawl back to bed. I was discriminated against because of my color, even by the police officers. Was looked down on and mocked by the guards.

I never gave up each day and night. I prayed to my God to have mercy on me and deliver me from the hands of my oppressors. Never cried despite the pain and challenges,” the Nairobi woman who was later released and deported to Kenya after suffering for days said.

Elsewhere, Susan Njoki said she was tired of her Saudi Arabia boss, who did not want to pay her as her contract was running down.

Njoki planned to escape, but when her Saudi boss discovered the plan, she attacked her and put her in their freezer.

The Kiambu lady said she was left unattended for a while without food and water after her plan failed, but she made it out alive.
