MP Kibagendi and Emmanuel Talam Confess They Were Eyeing the Late Rita Tinina for Marriage
Emmanuel Talam, a former journalist, is among those paying their respects at the funeral of Rita Tinina in Narok. Rita was discovered deceased in her residence on March 17th.
Was Rita Tinina married?
The seasoned journalist’s attractiveness captured the attention of numerous individuals, leading former journalist Emmanuel Talam and Anthony Kibagendi, the Member of Parliament for Kitutu Chache South constituency, to admit that they were attracted to her.
Speaking to the attendees at the funeral, Talam, who had collaborated with Tinina in the media field for many years before transitioning to a position in the president’s administration, openly admitted his fondness for Tinina.

“My friend Robert take no offence. When Rita came to KIMC because we joined on the same day, in the same class, I thought she was going to be my wife. She was so beautiful, brown and she was Maasai. I thought I had found a wife, but one day, aliona nimekuja sana akaniambia, ‘young man wacha haraka you will get a wife. Tusome kwanza’,” Talam recalled leaving mourners in stitches.
He recalled how one day, he sent Tinina a love song on a radio program dubbed Love Zone.
He said:
“I have come to confess that I am the anonymous guy who sent Rita a special song. A song that I have found out is symbolic of ‘From a Distance’.”

When given a chance to address mourners, he revealed he had a crush on her.
“It is not only Talam who had a crush on her. Her voice was sweet, and despite her being older than me, I threw my shot at her, but she declined and told me was older than her,” he said.

On Monday, March 25, Nagila moved mourners to tears as he read his glowing tribute to her during her requiem mass held at the Holy Family Basilica.
Nagila revealed when he lost his father in 2023, Tinina was there for him and even attended the funeral.
