Mother Arrested for Allegedly Killing 3 Children and Attempting Suicide.
A tragic incident occurred in Kikuyu, Kiambu County, where a mother is suspected of murdering her three young children, ages six months, three, and four.
The suspected perpetrator then attempted to hang herself inside her residence, which may have failed because neighbors heard a loud noise and discovered her lying on the floor upon entering the home.
The mother was arrested and taken to the Kikuyu police station, while the children’s bodies were taken to the Thogoto hospital morgue.

The police commander in Kikuyu, Ronald Kirui, confirmed the incident and stated that the murder’s motive has not been determined; however, preliminary investigations point to a domestic dispute.
