Morara Kebaso’s Ally Reveals Why Key Party Officials Left: “He’s Hard to Work With”
Party leader Morara Kebaso has faced a setback after several key officials chose to part ways with him.
In a candid interview with TUKO.co.ke, one of the departing members, who wished to remain anonymous, explained that the decision to leave was driven by Morara’s increasingly difficult behavior.
Despite several attempts to offer advice, the official claimed that Morara’s focus remained solely on becoming a billionaire by 35, rather than on effecting meaningful change through the party.
“Morara is hard to work with. He reacts impulsively to every situation. In a team, every action should reflect the party’s stance, but with him, it’s all about his own decisions. No one else’s input matters. He doesn’t take advice; it’s always about him,” the leader expressed.
The source also raised concerns regarding the party’s financial management, criticizing Morara for lacking transparency and accountability. According to the official, Morara served as the de facto chief accountant, making it nearly impossible for anyone to monitor the party’s financial activities.
Morara allegedly mentioned the substantial donations he received from Kenyans only occasionally, without providing specifics on how the funds were utilized. The official highlighted that the majority of these contributions came from the Kenyan diaspora, not from local supporters.

“He was both the party leader and the chief accountant. We had no insight into how much money he was receiving or where it went. Though he occasionally spoke of donations from locals, most of the contributions were from abroad. He has a way of making you feel sorry for him, often mentioning that Kenyans sent KSh 1 million in a week. At times, he almost pities himself for sharing this information,” the source shared.
Furthermore, the official accused Morara of making decisions without consulting the party leadership, secretly meeting with politicians, and keeping the rest of the leadership in the dark about any agreements reached.
Initially, the official had trusted Morara, believing that the movement was driven by good intentions and a shared goal to bring about change. However, after hearing rumors about his actions and conducting their investigation, they became disillusioned.
“I thought this movement was about reforming the government and fighting corruption. Little did we know, we were dealing with someone focused on his gain, exploiting both our efforts and the movement. I’m glad we left when we did,” the official reflected.
They revealed that Morara is now only supported by his loyal treasurer and chairman, who have stood by him since their university days.
