Missing Medic Found Buried in Shallow Grave Behind Her Home
Police in Naivasha have discovered the decomposing body of a missing nurse buried in a shallow grave behind her house.
According to a report by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), officers from Naivasha Sub-County arrested 30-year-old Mary Chebet, a nanny who worked for the nurse and is now the main suspect.
The victim, who lived in Karai, Naivasha, was reported missing on July 4. Her husband alerted police when she failed to return home from her job at Naivasha Sub-County Hospital.
Following intense investigations, detectives focused on Chebet. During questioning, she led officers to the house in Karai, where the womanโs body was found buried in a shallow grave behind the property.
Public health officials helped in recovering the body, which was found with pieces of clothing wrapped tightly around the neckโpointing to possible foul play.
Chebet is currently in police custody as investigations continue. She is expected to be charged in court soon.
Suspect in Viral Anti-Police Video Arrested in Nairobi
In a separate incident, detectives arrested Godfrey Mwasiaga Kakan Maiyo, who is accused of posting a viral video inciting violence against police officers and their families.

The suspect was tracked down to Kimathi House in Nairobi, where he was running a secret office under the name LetaPeleka Logistics. He remains in custody and will be charged in court.
Three Suspects Arrested After Breaking Into Godown on Mombasa Road
Police in Embakasi have arrested three suspects linked to a break-in at Vimit Convertors Limited, a company located near the SGR on Mombasa Road.
The thieves reportedly climbed over the wall and cut through the roof to access the godown. Once inside, they stole several electronic items, including two laptops, a Microsoft Surface, a Razer laptop, a Huawei tablet, and a Soundlink Mini speaker, among other valuables.
Investigations are ongoing as the suspects remain in custody.
