Millicent Omanga Is Google’s Most Searched Kenyan Personality In 2023
Former nominated senator Millicent Omanga is Kenya’s top-searched local personality in 2023 on Google, data released by the search engine on Monday showed.
Google’s 2023 ‘Year In Search’ wrap showed that Omanga’s interest on the platform peaked on April 16, with Kenyans looking up ‘omanga viral video’, ‘Millicent omanga viral video’, ‘Millicent omanga trending video’, ‘video of millicent omanga’ and ‘omanga trending video’.
She was followed by televangelist Ezekiel Odero, slain deejay DJ Fatxo, content creator Georgina Njenga, controversial pastor Paul Mackenzie, the athlete Faith Kipyegon, former Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’I, former IEBC chairperson Wafula Chebukati, Chief Justice Martha Koome, and businesswoman ‘Mathe wa Ngara’.
The most searched global personalities by Kenyans were Ukrainian footballer Mykhailo Mudryk, English footballer Declan Rice, Ecuadorian footballer Moisés Caicedo, English footballer Mason Mount, Moroccan footballer Achraf Hakimi, Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, Cameroonian football goalkeeper André Onana, Portuguese footballer João Félix, American TV personality Steve Harvey and Belgian footballer Leandro Trossard.
