Meru: Bishop’s wife on the run after attacking boy, injuring his genitals
The inhabitants of Kiorimba village are outraged after reports emerged of a brutal attack on a 17-year-old boy, purportedly carried out by the wife of a bishop, due to his involvement with her daughter.
The adolescent was allegedly assaulted by the young woman’s relatives while accompanying her back to their residence following her late-night visit.
As per the boy’s account, the bishop’s daughter expressed a desire to stay overnight at his residence, yet he declined and instead chose to accompany her back to her own home.

“I was going to explain to her mother where her child had gone at night, and how she came to my place, and when I tried to take her out, she refused,” said the young boy.
He claimed that upon arriving at the girl’s residence, he was attacked by the girl’s mother, sister, and brother, resulting in him losing consciousness.
Upon regaining consciousness, he found himself bound to a tree with his trousers lowered, while the woman orchestrated a cruel deed that compelled him to scream in torment.
“She took the rope and tied it around my privates and started squeezing like you do when you wring out clothes after doing the laundry, I felt like my privates were being ripped out, I screamed in pain, I don’t know if the neighbor heard my cries,” he added.
How was Meru boy rescued from his assailants?
The boy’s cries caught the attention of nearby residents, who intervened to help him before he was quickly taken to Meru Teaching and Referral Hospital for medical attention.
The community disapproved of the deed and urged law enforcement to apprehend the wife of the clergy member, who had fled.
“My son’s rights should be protected, and the government should stand with him and take action against the woman who committed that act,” said the boy’s mother.
Area Chief Victoria Kimathi confirmed the incident and mentioned that the police were taking steps to apprehend the woman involved.
