Maya Jama’s Epic Blunder in Love Island Winner Announcement

After announcing the winners of the ITV2 show, LOVE Island host Maya Jama appeared to make a major error.

During the live final, the 28-year-old TV host appeared to make a major error by awarding the 2023 crown to Kai Fagan and Sanam Harinanan, both aged 24.

Maya gave a final closing address to the camera as the deserving couple celebrated their victory with their fellow finalists.

Maya was quick to inform viewers that a brand-new reality show would replace Love Island’s time slot following the conclusion of the series after she teased fans to tune in to the reunion special the following week.

The relevant program was Loaded in Paradise, a brand-new series that debuted on the ITVX streaming service last year.

However, the host of the show, Maya, appeared to have gotten her words mixed up when she referred to the program as Loaded in Paris.

Speaking to the camera, the stunning woman stated, “If you are unsure of what to watch tomorrow at 9 pm on ITV2, we have a new reality series titled Loaded in Paris.”

In her first year as host, Maya crowned Kai and Sanam as the winners of this year’s show.

After Maya revealed the outcome of the public vote, the ecstatic couple shared a sweet embrace and kiss as they couldn’t believe their good fortune.

Sanam wiped away tears as the couple kissed after their victory.

“I am speechless!” As the finalists flooded onto the stage, Sanam exclaimed.

Kai and Sanam, both 24 years old, defeated Tom Clare and Samie Elishi, Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall, both 25 and 26, and Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga, both 24 and 22.

Ron and Lana finished second, just behind the winning pair.
