Malala Warns Raila: “No One is Above the Law, You Will Be Arrested”
United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Secretary General Cleophas Malala has accused Raila Odinga, leader of the Azimio party, of causing unrest and economic sabotage in the country.
Saturday, during a UDA registration campaign in Tana River County, Malala warned Raila that he will be arrested if anti-government demonstrations continue.
He stated that Raila should be held accountable for the devastation caused by the Saba Saba protests on Friday, accusing him of deliberately undermining President Ruto’s administration.
“We are tolerating you (Raila), but we are nearly eaten up. “If you continue to destroy people’s property, drive away investors, and abuse children, we will arrest you and bring you to justice,” Malala said.
The UDA Secretary-General cautioned Raila against carrying out a planned mass demonstration on Wednesday of the following week.

“We will begin by arresting Raila Odinga,” he declared, urging Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki to “never again entertain Raila.”
Malala also minimized Azimio’s latest effort to collect 10 million signatures to launch a revolution against the government of President William Ruto.
“One cannot repeat the same actions and expect different results. You’ve held the Saba Saba march for years, but you’ve never been elected president. Do you believe that you can intimidate Ruto? William Ruto will remain in office until 2032; if you wish to collect signatures, you should wait until 2033,” he said.
Former Tana River Governor Hussein Dado asserted at the forum that political activists are being used to sabotage the government, as evidenced by the suspension of the Finance Act.
Senator Danson Mungatana of Tana River stated that the opposition should not dictate what the government should do within their programs, but instead should plan how to establish a future government.
