Love Island’s Tanya Returns to Normal Job Despite Fame
Tanya Manhenga of LOVE Island has stated that her success on the show will not derail her career plans.
The biomedical student stated that she would complete her university degree despite her newfound fame.
She responded to a fan who asked during an Instagram Q&A if she planned to abandon her challenging studies.
Tanya insisted, “I will complete… I do not initiate and complete tasks.”
Obtaining a degree in biomedical science equips you with the skills to conduct lab tests that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease, and can lead to a lucrative salary.
When asked if she would switch cities, the student from Liverpool stated that she was “definitely considering” relocating to London.
Tanya, age 23, stated that she will not move in immediately with her villa boyfriend Shaq Muhammad.

“We want to take our time with that step because it means so much to me and him,” she explained.
“However, if I must be closer to him, I will move to London, or he will come to Liverpool.”
Tanya stated that the pair had “vacations, chill days, and having fun together” in mind. She added, “When we are together, we are like children, we have so much fun!” I wish to proceed with that.”
Shaq called Martin Akinola’s comments about Tanya “disgusting” on Sunday’s episode of Love Island Reunion, during which they clashed over her.
He criticized the software engineer, who was briefly involved with Tanya, for his X-rated podcast comments.
Martin asserted that he told Shaq, “On the outside, I would be f*cking your girls in ways you cannot even fathom.”
