Love Island’s Sanam: Heartwarming Homecoming Gift and Adopted Title
The winner of LOVE Island 2023, Sanam Harrinanan, has revealed her heartfelt welcome-home gift.
Kai Fagan and Sanam were stunned by the result that saw them defeat Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins to win the £50,000 prize and the competition.
Since her return, Sanam has shared a photo of a thoughtful present she received.
The 24-year-old social worker from Bedford was presented with a picture of herself in a picture frame.
Sanam could be seen smiling in the photo, which was taken during her appearance on the program, and on it was written “The nation’s princess” and the date.
The reality star, moved by the thoughtful gift, wrote: “Usually I don’t feel like I should be called this, but the fact that this was trending at one point warms my heart.
I adore every person who stated this.
Kai, speaking from South Africa at the time of their victory, stated, “I think we’re both so stunned.”
Sanam added: “I am so stunned I cannot believe it. I would like to thank every person who has voted for us and supported us. I would hug every one of you if I could. This is the amount of love I feel.”

Kai had the last word, declaring: “It defies comprehension; it is absurd. We appreciate everyone who voted for us. I am truly so grateful.”
The couple met in South Africa less than a month ago, when bombshell Sanam entered the ITV2 villa on day 29 as part of the infamous Casa Amor twist.
Their romance quickly captivated fans, and they won 40% of the public vote and £50,000 in prize money.
Now that they’ve met each other’s families, they’ve shared their intentions to move in together.
And upon their return home, their nearest and dearest gathered in a massive hall to applaud their victory.
The couple posed beneath a massive balloon arch emblazoned with Love Island-themed colors and text to announce their return.
Kai revealed in his exit interview that he will soon ask Sanam to be his girlfriend.
He said: “I have made it abundantly clear that she will be my girlfriend on the outside!
“As soon as we get out here, additional effort will commence.”
