    KPLC Schedules Power Interruption in 7 Counties on Tuesday

    KPLC Schedules Power Interruption in 7 Counties on Tuesday

    Kenya Power has scheduled electricity supply interruption on Tuesday across seven counties.

    The power utility firm said this is to allow for system maintenance.ย 

    The power cuts have been scheduled between 9 am and 5 pm in parts of Nairobi, Kiambu, Makueni, Kirinyaga, and Nyeri Counties.

    The interruption will be witnessed between 9 am and 2 pm in parts of Bungoma county and between 9 am and 3 pm in parts of Homa Bay county where Awuoro and Mwamba primary schools are among the establishments to be affected.

    In Nairobi, areas to be affected include Ruaka Groove, Runda Groove, parts of Northern Bypass, Runda Water, Two Rivers, Mimosa Road, and adjacent customers.

    In Kiambu, Muthaiga, Limuru Girls, Karirana Tea, Muna High School, Kwa Kariuki, Limco Shoe factory, and Kwa Nyakaro and adjacent customers will be affected.ย

    In Ichaweri in Gatundu, areas to be affected include Githuya village, Gatundu town, Gatundu Hospital, Ituru, and Muthurumbi high schools, Wamwangi, Kamunyu, and the neighboring clients.

    Makueni residents to be affected are those around Kilala, Ukia, Mukuyuni, Kyambalasi, Kivani, Kilyungi, Kitundu, Sarova, Kiatine and Kali markets.

    In Bungoma, power will be out in Khalumili, Ngwelo, Kuuywa, Kwa Dinah, Molo, Lovington Estate, St Teresa, Wananchi, St Mary’s, St Angela, Matisi Water Plant and the adjacent customers.

    Areas to be affected in Nyeri include Karandi, Sagana village, Chieni, Maganjo, Rititi, Kiangima, Sagana fisheries, Kiamariga, Kianjau, Kanyama, Kaiyaba and the adjacent customers.

    In Kirinyaga, areas to be affected include Mwea Mosque, Mwea Boys High School, Karira Hospital, Kasarani Gakungu, Ndorome, Nguka, Nyaikungu, Mianya A and B, Kangichiri and adjacent customers.ย
