KPLC announces power interruptions in 8 counties on Wednesday
Kenya Power has announced scheduled power interruptions in eight counties on Wednesday.
Counties to be affected include Kiambu, Machakos, Nyeri, Embu, Kajiado, Nakuru, Bomet, and Nyamira.
In Kiambu, areas to experience power interruptions include Thika Gateway Mall, TIBS, Njomoko, Leghorn Feeds, Clavers, Chania Village, Metro, Vincentian Retreat Centre, and Windsor Flowers.
Greatwall 1 and 2, Upper and Lower Sabaki, London Distillers, Tuffoam, Trail Link, Sabaki Kijiji, Kenchic, Tamarind Est, and Mt. Olive in Machakos will have power disruptions.
Chaka Brookside, Roben Abedare, Kirinnyaga Construction, Ceprene Industries, and Milimani Crusher in Nyeri will also be affected by scheduled power interruptions.
Parts of Embu that will experience power interruptions include Kianjiru Transmission Hub, Munyori, Kirima, Kaweru, Kiametho, Mathigameru, Kamunyange, Gen Njeru and adjacent customers.
Isinya Town, Ramoda, Globsil, KEDA Ceramic, KMQ, Mile 46, and adjacent customers in Kajiado will also be affected.

In Nakuru, areas to have power interruption include Baharini Boreholes, Kwa Murogi, Free Area, Naka, Sec 58, Kabachia, Lions, Ebony, Kisulisuli, Kingdom Seekers, Bargain, Nursing Home, Baraka Nursing Home, Bedi, Mau View, Mama Ngina Pri Sch, Christ the King, Central Bank and adjacent customers.
Bomet Water, Kyogong, Sachora, Olbutyo, Siongiroi, Kapoleseroi, Chelelach, Chebwostuiyet, Kimaiya, Bingwa, Kataret, Chebunyo, Labotiet, Tenwek Hospital, Kaboson, Emarti, Chepalungu TTI, Fairmount Hotel, Ntulele, Lalela, Kabolecho, Kiprturgut, Kapkulumben, Tilangok, Mogor, Lelbarak, Kiproroget, Sigor, Tumoi, Kipkeigei, Lelaitich, Kabolwo and Chepkosa in Bomet will experience power interruptions.
Other parts in Bomet to have power interruptions include Maseno Village, Korinda Prisons Staff Qtrs, Kisumu Ndogo, Bugengi Catholic Church, Montessori Sch. Corner Point and Budokomi Church among others.
Onjele Hospital, Ragana, Kowino, Karamu, Kugisingi, Ngisiru, Moheto, Mabera, Motemorabu, Kubweye Sec, Komomwamu, Nyabohanse, Isibania Boys, KCB Isibania, KRA Isibania and Nuru Isibania in Nyamira will have power interruptions.
