KMTC Announces 1700 Nursing Opportunities In Saudi Arabia; How To Apply

The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has revealed opportunities for 1700 nursing positions in Saudi Arabia, encouraging eligible graduates to submit their applications.

Approximately 500 openings exist for Personal Assistants/Health Care Assistants, offering a salary of 2000 Saudi Riyals, equivalent to around Ksh. 91,371. Applicants must possess either a Certificate in Care Giving, a Certificate in Community Health Nursing, or an Enrolled Community Nursing certificate to qualify for these positions.

Women applicants aged 22 to 35 will be taken into account for the available two-year contract positions, according to a posting on the National Employment Authority Integrated Management System (NEAIMS).

Individuals desiring to submit their applications may do so via the NEAIMS portal before June 30, 2024.

Additionally, there are approximately 1000 open positions in nursing that necessitate candidates to have recently completed a nursing diploma program.

As per the advertisement, the positions offer a monthly salary of 3000 Saudi Riyals (equivalent to about Ksh. 124,596) and require a commitment for a two-year period.

“The Government of Kenya is collaborating with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) in enhancing safe, regular, and productive labor migration between the two countries,” the listing reads in part. 

“This initiative has facilitated employment of thousands of Kenyans in various economic sectors in the KSA which has expressed willingness to recruit additional Female healthcare workers from Kenya.”
