Kenyans Hunger for Food, Not Government – Azimio
According to the Azimio la Umoja coalition, Kenyans are sick of President William Ruto’s administration, and the coalition also claims that Kenyans no longer care about the issue.
Stewart Madzayo, the leader of the minority in the Senate, pointed out that even though Kenyans demand that the state reduce the cost of living and cut taxes, the government continues to talk about cash.
In a statement, Madzayo claimed that all Kenyans want is food because they can’t eat the government. He explained that this is the case because Kenyans cannot consume their government.
“Kenyans have specifically requested for a decrease in the cost of goods as well as a reduction in the amount of taxes, but Kenya Kwanza is talking about the deficit and funds. It has come to our attention that Kenya Kwanza is falling back on worn-out terms such as “Lord of violence.” “It won’t work,” he remarked.
“People don’t care. They have no needs other than to be provided with food and to have an acceptable quality of living… The people have realized that they do not consume the government. “He said that people eat food and that people want food.”

The senator stated that, contrary to what the leaders of Kenya Kwanza have claimed, the protestors come from all walks of life and include some individuals linked with parties that are part of the ruling coalition.
“Azimio supporters do not make up the entirety of the thousands of Kenyans who have shown up for demonstrations.” “They are Kenyans who come from a variety of political and non-political formations but have been brought together by their shared experience of suffering,” Madzayo said.
The demonstrators come from many organizations, including Azimio, Ford Kenya, ANC, and even Kenya Kwanza.
He went on to say that it is obvious that Kenya Kwanza is having trouble on all fronts, and he asked the people of Kenya to become aware of the fact that they are on their own.
“We have to fight for ourselves,” he stated. “We can’t give up.”
