    Kenya Power Schedules Power Cuts in Six Counties Monday

    Kenya Power Schedules Power Cuts in Six Counties Monday

    Six counties have been scheduled to experience scheduled power interruption on Monday as part of network maintenance.

    Kenya Power said in a notice Sunday evening the counties are Homa Bay, Embu, Nyeri, Machakos, Kiambu, and Kilifi.

    Areas to be affected in Homa Bay include Oyugis Town where power will be out from 9 am till 3 pm.

    Others are Saye, Nyabondo, Nyadendi, Obisa, Rongo Pri, Nyangiela, Third Engineering, Kasimba, Mathenge, Nyatindo.. Kawere, Ongamo, Mosocho, and adjacent customers.

    In Embu, power will be cut from 9 am to 4 pm in Kavutiri and Kianjokะพmะฐ.

    Areas to be affected are Mungania Tea Factory, Kianjokoma Market, Kathande village, Kamugere, Kianyangi, Weru wa Kaimba, Ngurueri Coffe Factory and adjacent customers.

    A similar fate will befall Chaka Market, Mbiriri, and Nyaribo in Nyeri County where establishments to be affected include New KCC Kiganjo, Chaka Market, Maisha Flour Mills, Kiganjo Market, Kiganjo Police College, Kirichu Market, Rosa Academy, Kagumo High School, Ndurutu, Gladstone Hotel, Kiganjo Nyewasco Sewerage and the adjacent customers.

    In Machakos, power supply has been scheduled from 9 am to 5 pm in areas that fall along Kitui Road.

    These include Masii, Mwala, Mbiuni, and Kasolongo markets, Muthetheni, Miu, Katangi, Kavumbu, Ikalaasa, Tulila, Yathui, Syokisinga, Kenyatta, Ikombe, Kyua, Ngumbulu SEKU and adjacent customers.

    In Kiambu County, interruption has been scheduled from 8.30 am to 5 pm around Thogoto and PCEA University.

    Alliance Girls’ High School, Alliance Boys, PCEA Kikuyu Hospital, UoN Kikuyu Campus, and adjacent customers will be affected.

    Lastly in Kilifi County, Kenya Power has scheduled to interrupt the normal supply of electricity from 8.30 am to 5 pm.

    Areas to be affected fall within the locality of Kasufini and Mkoamoto including Malindi Golf, Sand-Piper School, Woburn Residence, Kisumu Ndogo, Danga, Mulika Mwizi, and adjacent customers.
