While attending the BAFTAs with her husband, Prince William, the Princess of Wales wore a recycled gown and Zara earrings from a high street store.

Royal fans adored Kate Middleton and Prince William’s playful red carpet moment.

As they arrived at the BAFTAs, the Prince and Princess of Wales were greeted by cheering fans.

In a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, the Duchess of Cambridge, age 41, appeared to affectionately tap Wills, age 40, on the bottom.

Another said, “She’s attempting to shake his hand, but he’s pulling away – he’s greeting the press!”

A viewer commented, “This is the best they’ve looked in a very long time.”

Others simply added emojis of hearts.

The couple was among the guests who walked the red carpet at the Royal Festival Hall in London for the ceremony, which “celebrates the year’s finest cinematic achievements.”

For the event, Kate, 41, wore an elegant off-white dress. The one-shoulder gown was accessorized with a pair of long black gloves and a clutch purse from Jimmy Choo.

She completed the ensemble with a pair of statement earrings that she purchased on sale.

The recycled gown was designed by Alexander McQueen. The gown is the outfit she wore to the 2019 BAFTAs, but with a cape, and sleeve added.

The floral accent on the shoulder has been replaced with a capped sleeve for this evening’s attire.

The floral-shaped earrings Kate wore were sold for ยฃ17.99 by the high street retailer Zara.

This evening’s event was attended by her 40-year-old husband, William, who has served as BAFTA’s president since February 2010.

As she and William walked the red carpet to the awards ceremony, Kate styled her brunette hair in her signature wavy style, and her natural makeup radiated.

For the film awards ceremony, he opted to wear a classic black suit. His ensemble consisted of a white shirt, black jacket, black bow tie, and white pocket square.

Prince William became emotional during the ceremony as Helen Mirren paid a moving tribute to the late Queen.

This year’s EE Bafta Film Awards were held at London’s Royal Festival Hall, which is part of the Southbank Centre, and were hosted by actor Richard E. Grant and television personality Alison Hammond.
