Uhuru reprimanded the misbehaving party members during his speech and stated that they did not represent the will of the party’s majority.
“Those who received the few positions Jubilee had to share now claim they will steer the party in the right direction. “No, their job is to stand firm and defend the Jubilee manifesto, or to step down and allow us to choose replacements,” Uhuru said.
In addition, he stated that he would continue to advocate for the party’s interests as its party leader and dispelled rumors that he would leave politics.
“I considered leaving politics, but others decided to threaten me. Today, I’m telling them to look for someone other than Uhuru Kenyatta. We will treat you as thugs if you behave as such.”
“They used to insult me while I remained silent. They’ve stolen goats and burned farms in an attempt to intimidate me, but the people who gave me this party instructed me to protect it, and I will continue to do so until they choose a new party leader,” he warned.
