    James Smart Exposes Fired CS for Reaching Out after 20 Months: “Wish Him Well in The Hey World”

    NTV news anchor James Smart has exposed a fired Cabinet Secretary (CS) for reaching out after 20 months.

    How did James Smart expose ex-CS?

    In a widely shared post on X, Smart disclosed that the CS sent him a “Hey bro” message after being left out of recent Cabinet appointments.

    Smart explained that the CS has been unavailable for media comment since assuming office in the Kenya Kwanza administration in 2022.

    The managing editor- of newsroom production added that he wishes well the fired CS.

    “Received the first ‘Hey bro’ from former and now fired CS. He has been unavailable for media comment in the last 20 months. I wish him well in the ‘Hey’ world,” tweeted Smart.

    Received the first "Hey bro" from former and clearly now fired CS. He has been unavailable for media comment in the last 20 months. I wish him well in the "Hey" world.

    According to most of the news anchor’s followers on X, the recent dissolution of the Cabinet taught them that power is transient.

    @iFortknox:

    “You should try to be there for your brothers in times of crisis.”

    @BravinYuri:

    โ€œPolitical power is transient; do public good while it lasts.”

    @ahmedsalims:

    โ€œThey can be pointed out now, considering the majority lot is back.”

    @gospelsongsng:

    “Power is transient. Respect the fact and build good relationships.”

    @TechWicky:

    “What goes around comes around.”

    How is life away from power?

    James Smart’s post is reminiscent of Bitange Ndemo’s lamentations after he left the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) docket in 2013.

    Opening up about life after politics, Ndemo said his phone stopped ringing following his departure from office.

    Ndemo said he felt lonely and abandoned by friends and colleagues who would previously call his phone at least 30 times daily.

    However, he disclosed in 2022 that his phone was active again after he was appointed as Kenya’s ambassador to Belgium.
