Iran Threatens Destruction of Israel Should It Launch A Major Attack
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has warned that an Israeli attack on Iranian territory could drastically alter the political landscape and potentially lead to the collapse of the “Zionist regime,” as reported by the state news agency IRNA on Tuesday.
Raisi’s comments were made during his three-day visit to Pakistan, which commenced on Monday.
He emphasized his commitment to increasing trade between the two neighboring countries, aiming to elevate the annual trade volume to $10 billion.
The visit comes as the two Muslim-majority countries attempt to reconcile their differences after a series of military confrontations earlier this year.
On Friday, explosions were reported in the Iranian city of Isfahan, which sources attributed to an Israeli attack.

However, Iranian authorities downplayed the incident and stated that they did not intend to retaliate.
Iran’s military response included a missile and drone attack on Israel on April 13, claiming it was a response to Israel’s supposed attack on Iran’s embassy compound in Damascus on April 1.
Despite Iran’s efforts, the majority of its missiles and drones were intercepted and neutralized by Israeli defense systems.
During a speech in Lahore, Raisi reiterated Iran’s steadfast support for the Palestinian resistance, underscoring the country’s continued commitment to the cause.
His statements reflect the ongoing tensions between Iran and Israel, as well as the broader geopolitical struggles in the Middle East.
Raisi’s visit to Pakistan may serve to strengthen alliances in the region while also potentially signaling Iran’s intent to assert itself more strongly in regional affairs.
