“If I die…” Former DP Gachagua’s Letter to His Supporters Should Anything Happen to Him
Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has revealed that he has written a special letter to his community, giving guidance on their political future in case anything happens to him.
Speaking on Kameme FM on Monday, Gachagua said the letter, which he has given to his lawyers, contains important instructions on leadership and political strategy if he is no longer around.
Gachaguaโs Fears for His Safety
Gachagua expressed concerns about his security, claiming that the government had already sent people to harm him in Limuru.
“I cannot assume I will live forever. This government has already sent thugs to kill me in Limuru,” he alleged. “If I had died then, who would have guided my community?”
Mentoring Future Leaders
Gachagua stated that he is actively mentoring young leaders across the country to ensure stable leadership in the future. He believes in preparing for any situation and ensuring his community knows the right path to follow.
He recalled a past event where he alleged that government operatives disrupted a funeral he attended in Limuru.
Content of the Letter
According to Gachagua, the letter provides detailed instructions on how his community should handle political matters and the challenges they may face.
“I see what is happening, and it is important to be prepared. I may not be here tomorrow, and if they succeed in eliminating me, my community must know the path forward,” he explained.
Long-Term Political Plan
Gachagua emphasized that his biggest goal is to create a strong political future for his community. He plans to establish a political party that will protect their interests for the next 50 years.
“If my people support me, I will create a succession strategy and a strong political party to safeguard our interests. I donโt have to lead, but if I can provide my people with a solid foundation and good leaders, I will have done my part,” he stated.
His message highlights his dedication to securing political stability and ensuring that his community remains strong, even in his absence.
