Through a GoFundMe campaign page, well-wishers from around the world raised Ksh7.3 million for a Kenyan family shot in Maple Valley, United States.

based on Wycliffe Brown On April 21, 2023, the husband of Seda’s family went berserk and fatally shot his entire family in a fit of rage.

According to reports, the suspect refused to allow his 52-year-old wife, Maureen Seda, to use a family vehicle to pick up their son from the airport.

The instant the son arrived home, he confronted his father, who responded by knocking Nigel to the ground in retaliation.

The conflict escalated after Audrey Seda, the daughter, intervened in the dispute.

In August of 2021, King County police officers investigate a crime scene.

Unannounced, the husband reportedly retrieved a firearm and fatally shot his family.

Nigel was shot three times in the abdomen. While his wife and daughter were shot in the arms and buttocks and the ribs and abdomen, respectively.

According to charging documents, the husband called 911 and was asked by the dispatcher if he shot his wife and he replied, “Yeah, I shot them.”

However, the suspect claimed that he acted in self-defense, claiming that the family initiated the attack.

When police officers from the King County Sheriff’s Office arrived on the scene. They discovered the suspect in the driveway with his cell phone and gun in his pocket.

Three members of the family were rushed to the hospital. While the husband was taken to the King County jail and will be arraigned on May 9, 2023.

The mother and daughter were both treated for their gunshot wounds and released days later.

However, the son sustained severe injuries and is being fed through a feeding tube.

Margaret filed a restraining order against her husband. In response to the incident out of fear that he would post bail and return to torment them.

She intends to file for divorce as well.

The Seda family created a GoFundMe page. Days after the incident to raise money for attorney fees, medical expenses, and the son’s rent.

“The lives of this innocent family have been irrevocably altered, and we are all left in shock and disbelief. They must immediately prioritize their physical, emotional, and mental health, according to a portion of their GoFundMe profile.

As of the time this article was published, Ksh7.3 million had been raised out of the Ksh6.8 million goal.
