Governor Arati Shakes Up Kisii Cabinet!

Kisii Governor Simba Arati has promptly implemented new changes to his County Executive Committee Members (CECMs) and Chief Officers.

According to a memo obtained by GossipA2Z, Governor Arati has transferred Dr. Margaret Kemunto Obaga from the Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock Development, and Irrigation portfolio to Infrastructure, Roads, and Public Works.

Dr. Obaga has replaced Cyrus Masenge Nyabicha on the Trade, Tourism, and Marketing portfolio.

Dr. Alfred Ndemo Ong’era, the outgoing Trade CECM, will move to the Public Service, County Administration, and Public Participation seat.

Daniel Ondabu Nyakundi, the previous occupant of said position, has been reassigned to the Education, Technical Training, Innovation, and Manpower Development portfolio.

Leah Obwari Ogega, minister for Medical Services, Public Health, and Sanitation, and her counterpart for Water, Environment, Natural Resources, Energy, and Climate Change, will switch positions as a result of the alterations.

Governor Arati reassigned Vincent Okioma Nyang’wara from Public Service and County Administration to Infrastructure, Roads, and Road Works as part of a reorganization of his Chief Officers.

Henry Monyancha will assume his position in the Public Service office after he departs the Public Participation, Disaster Management, and Special Programs division.

Casper Ondoro will become the new Public Participation Chief Officer, while Mr. Nyang’wara will take over the Infrastructure department.

The chief officers of Lands, Physical Planning, Housing, and Urban Development, Cleophas Odira Okioi, and Economic Planning and ICT Services, Dr. Kennedy Ben Mwengei, will also be exchanging roles.
