Dr. Teodora Wi, WHO Medical Officer specializing in STIs, will speak about AMR, gonorrhea, and the future of drug-resistant STIs.

- gonorrhea superbugs or super gonorrhea are drug-resistant gonorrheas with high-level resistance to the current recommended treatment for gonorrhea (ceftriaxone and azithromycin) but also including resistance to penicillin, sulphonamides, tetracycline, fluoroquinolones, and macrolides.
