The son of Gideon Moi is well-known in Kenya for his business acumen, having made investments in the banking industry, the real estate market, and the energy industry.

Despite the political legacy that was passed down to him from his family, he has built a successful business career for himself and is recognized by many as a successful business owner.

Kigen received his education at the esteemed University of Bristol in Bristol, England.

Polo is a sport that a man in his middle age enjoys playing very much. His father, Gideon Moi, was a legendary player in the game.

Kigen Moi was able to get one up on his father in 2014 at the Nanyuki Polo Challenge Cup. Kigen’s team, Samsung Tab 4, defeated his father’s team, Samsung NotePro 5, by a score of 5–2 and won the competition.

Kigen Moi is an active member of the Kenya African National Union (KANU) party in addition to his involvement in the business world and his passion for politics.

Given that his grandfather had ruled the country for 24 years, his father was a former senator, and his paternal uncle, Raymond Moi, had served as a former member of parliament for Rongai, his entry into politics was relatively uncomplicated.
