    Friday Power Outages: Four Counties Brace for KPLC Interruptions

    Friday Power Outages: Four Counties Brace for KPLC Interruptions

    Four counties have been scheduled for power interruption on Friday, Kenya Power has announced.

    Kenya Power said supply will be interrupted in Makueni, Kisii, Homabay, and Migori counties from 9 am to 4 pm save for Makueni where electricity will be restored at 5 pm.

    In Makueni, part of Mombasa Road will be affected. The areas are part of Sultan Town, Sultan Police, Holy Ghost Schools, Kalimbini, Ngokomi, Kwothithu, Kiongwani, Kima, Kiu, Salama, Kautandini, Malili, Enzai, Nunguni, Kilungu, Kavatanzou, Mitini, Kyambeke and adjacent customers.

    In Kisii County, Ibacho and Riamakanda areas will be affected.

    Power supply will be interrupted at Mobamba Secondary, Moremani Secondart and Marker, Ibacho Market, Nyankononi Primary, Nyamagega COG Secondary, Ibacho Health Centre, Ibacho Secondary, Ibacho Markert, Riamakanda Primary, Gesabakwa Primary and adjacent customers.

    In Homabay County, Oodi Beach and Agolo Muok areas will be affected.

    Areas to be without power are St. Camillus, Agolomuok, Seka, Ongongo, God Oloo Safaricom Booster, Oodi Beach, Koga, Otati, Oodi Beach, and adjacent customers.

    Supply will also be affected in the Misambi and Othoro areas. Part of Kadongo Market, Misambi Market, Wangapala Booster & Secondary, Oriang Polytechnic, Bishop Linux Okok Girls School, Nyapalo Market, Othoro Market, Kodada Market, Pala C/Fact, Atela Dispensary and adjacent customers.

    In Migori, Lwanda Magwar areas will face interruptions. Parts of Osiri, Osiri Gold Mine, Lwanda Magwar, Parts of Sori, Ndhiwa Centre, Nyakwere Center, and adjacent customers will be without power.
