Former President Uhuru Rocks New Hairstyle in Nigeria

During a recent trip to Nigeria, former President Uhuru Kenyatta embraced a bald look.

Known for his full head of hair, Uhuru’s hairstyle had long been a staple of his image.

But recently, he showcased a shaved head that caught the attention of Kenyans.

There is still no official word on the reason behind the new look.

On Thursday, Uhuru arrived in Abidjan, Cรดte d’Ivoire, sporting blue trousers, a black T-shirt, and a stylish fedora.

He attended the 15th High-Level Retreat on Peace, Security, and Stability in Africa in Cรดte d’Ivoire.

Uhuru is known for aligning his attire to fit the occasion.

On Monday, he wore a black suit and white shirt as he delivered the inaugural lecture for Course 33 participants at Nigeriaโ€™s National Defence College in Abuja.

The lecture, titled โ€œThe Imperatives of Strong Institutions: A Panacea for National Security and Development in Africa,โ€ emphasized building robust institutions for regional security and growth.

Uhuru urged African leaders to focus on technological innovation tailored to advance the continentโ€™s needs in agriculture, science, and infrastructure, promoting economic independence through strengthened security.

He addressed the military, highlighting their constitutional duty to safeguard national integrity, which he said creates an environment for economic growth.

โ€œThe activities of non-state actors like Boko Haram, Al-Shabab, and other terrorist groups have impacted our economy and food security. To tackle these issues, we must reflect on governmental and political practices. Reforming at the national level lays a foundation for African progress across all regional layers,โ€ Uhuru explained.
