On Thursday, Kindiki expressed his pride in serving in this new capacity, vowing to support President Ruto’s vision for the nation.

“It is a privilege to serve my country during such transformative times, as Kenya advances toward the vision our forefathers held when establishing the Republic.”

“As I take on the responsibilities of the Deputy President, I commit to supporting President Ruto in championing and accelerating the Bottom-Up Economic Agenda (BETA), the guiding strategy of his administration since its election two years ago,” Kindiki said.
