DP Kindiki, Murkomen at CS Miano’s Son’s Lavish Wedding (PHOTOS)
Peter Miano, the son of Cabinet Secretary for Tourism Rebecca Miano, married his longtime love, Wambui Kibe, in a glamorous wedding on Saturday, January 4, in Tigoni, Kiambu County.
The event was a private affair, only open to guests. Deputy President Kithure Kindiki attended as the chief guest, marking his first public appearance of the year 2025.
Several prominent figures were also present at the wedding, including Defense Cabinet Secretary Soipan Tuiya, Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen, Water CS Eric Mugaa, Attorney General Dorcas Odwour, and Mbeere North MP Geoffrey Ruku, among others. Kindiki shared the happy news of the couple’s union on his official X account, extending his best wishes for a joyful marriage.
Photos shared by Gossipa2z.com revealed that guests at the wedding were all smiles as they enjoyed the celebration of Rebecca Miano’s son.

In his post, Kindiki expressed his honor in attending the wedding, saying, “Honoured to join the family of Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano during the wedding of their son Peter and his bride Wambui.”
During his speech, Kindiki praised the importance of family, calling it the foundation on which a strong nation is built.
He emphasized that building both strong families and a prosperous nation requires attention to both physical infrastructure and the values that unite societies.
He highlighted the importance of love, social values, and generational unity for the country’s success and well-being.
