Double Tragedy Strikes Njambi Koikai’s Family: Father Passes Away on Day of Her Burial
The family of the late well-known Reggae MC and radio host Njambi Koikai is facing a double tragedy after her father was also declared dead.
A family source, who wished to remain anonymous, revealed that Daniel Koikai’s body was found in his home on Friday morning, the same day Njambi was to be buried at Lang’ata cemetery.
The exact details of his death remain unclear.
This tragedy occurred just a day after Mr. Koikai attended Njambi’s funeral service at Nairobi Chapel, where he described her passing as sudden and unexpected.
“Dear Njambi, my daughter, the time has come for me to make amends for my actions or inactions on your final journey from this world. The large following you garnered was a testament to your influence,” he said in his eulogy on Thursday.

“I deeply regret the times I failed to support you as you battled endometriosis. It is too late for regrets now. I must live with the reality that I wasn’t there when you needed me most, and I’m not proud of my actions,” he stated.
In his tribute to his daughter, Mr. Koikai expressed his contentment that despite the sad circumstances, they were able to reconnect at her hospital bed.
“At your hospital bedside with your mother the night you passed away, you told me we shared the same blood and that you were glad I was there. We have been reunited, and I hope we will be reunited again one day. May the Almighty God grant your soul eternal peace, Njambi,” he concluded.
