Divine Intervention: Yesu Wa Tongaren Daughter’s Fees Paid in a Miracle

Eliud Wekesa, also known as Yesu Wa Tongaren of the New Jerusalem sect, was ecstatic on Tuesday, May 9, after local Member of Parliament (MP) John Chikati offered to pay his daughter’s school fees.

This occurred after the Tongaren MP gave his daughter “Nabii Enoka” Ksh20,000 so that she could attend college.

Yesu Wa Tongaren stated, “Today I am a very happy man because God has performed a miracle for me; my daughter will now attend school after the MP offered to pay her school fees.”

He emphasized that he always encourages parents to send their children to school so that they can live better lives in the future.

“Our children must be sent to school because even reading the Bible requires at least some formal education,” he stated.

Wekesa urged his followers and locals to seek medical attention in the event of health complications, adding that doctors treat, but God heals.

Chikati, on the other hand, defended Wekesa, arguing that he had not broken any laws by referring to himself as “Yesu wa Tongaren.”

“Yesu Wa Tongaren is a good man, he has been praying for us, and he is also generous,” Chikaki remarked.

The representative emphasized the importance of sect members and other citizens sending their children to school.

The representative stated, “With the help of the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), we will support learning at all levels, from primary to secondary to tertiary/university.”

He urged ‘Nabii Enoka’ to study diligently and serve as a role model in her constituency and the nation as a whole.

Chikati, a first-time Member of Parliament, is also the current Secretary General of the Ford Kenya party, succeeding Dr. Eseli Simiyu.

The incident occurred less than a day after Francis Kooli, commander of the Bungoma Police Department, summoned Yesu Wa Tongaren for questioning regarding allegations of questionable teachings.

Wekesa pleaded with the police not to arrest him, arguing that he had not committed any wrongdoing.

“Because the law punishes those who are on the wrong side, it would be unjust to detain me. “If you have committed no wrongdoing, why are you being arrested?” he pondered.
