Desperate Plea: Wife Begs Kindiki for Help After Nairobi Carwash Daylight Abduction
The loved ones of a well-known real estate agent in Nairobi reached out emotionally on Monday to Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki, requesting help to find their family member who disappeared in October.
The individual was spotted for the final time at a carwash in Komarock, where he had brought his car for a wash, before being taken by unknown persons against his will.
Despite consistently trying for the last two months, the family still has no information about his location, even after thoroughly searching police stations, hospitals, and mortuaries in an urgent attempt to find the absent businessman.
His troubled spouse discussed the difficulties she encountered, specifically the challenge of elucidating to their children the enigmatic vanishing of their father.
Adding to the distress she was already feeling, she revealed that she was now solely responsible for the financial burden because she faced difficulties in accessing her husband’s bank accounts.
The absent real estate agent had a significant impact on their kids’ schooling by covering tuition fees. Additionally, they made substantial contributions, totaling around Ksh1 million annually, to aid several disadvantaged children.
“CS Kindiki, you are a parent and the same way your family rejoices when you come back home at night is the same way my children got excited when their father came home. Please help us find him,” she stated.
The wife elaborated more on the painful ordeal of going to multiple mortuaries every day, facing different corpses each time, in a desperate attempt to find her husband who was missing.
The son was profoundly impacted by the distressing experience, leading him to cope by secluding himself in his room for a period of three days.

She made a heartfelt request for help, encouraging the community to come together in their search for her husband, who has been absent for close to three months.
The distress of the family grew stronger when it was revealed that the real estate agent had been kidnapped shortly after triumphing in a ten-year legal battle concerning a parcel of land. Initially, the opposing side had made severe allegations, but they withdrew these accusations once the businessman vanished under mysterious circumstances.
Furthermore, a dispute arose when the entrepreneur tried to buy a parcel of land in Tassia, located in Embakasi, Nairobi County. Allegedly, the businessman enclosed the area, which was regularly utilized by commuters, resulting in a conflict.
Authorities from Kayole Police Station had also questioned a different individual who reportedly made menacing statements to the entrepreneur, insisting on the return of funds paid for a piece of land in Kitengela.
The family expressed dissatisfaction, stating that the police investigations were superficial and not actionable.
Despite the slow progress, the family is hopeful that they will see their kin again.
