Muhoozi Kainerugaba, son of Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni, has sparked conversations online after declaring his willingness to pay a dowry for American music icon Beyoncé.

Who is Muhoozi Kainerugaba?
Kainerugaba currently serves as the Chief of Defence Forces for Uganda’s military, the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF). Additionally, he chairs the Patriotic League of Uganda, a political group advocating for his potential presidential candidacy.
Over the years, Kainerugaba has held key military roles, including Commander of the Special Forces Command (SFC) from 2008 to 2017 and again from 2020 to 2021. In 2017, he was named Senior Presidential Adviser for Special Operations, intensifying rumors of his grooming for the presidency.
