Autopsy Reveals Tom Osinde Died from Head Injuries

A head injury caused by a heavy object was the cause of death for Tom Osinde. According to an autopsy conducted on Friday, June 30.

According to reports, Chief Government Pathologist Johansen Odour, who performed the autopsy at the Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary, attributed the injuries to multiple blows to the head.

Martin Nyaguto, the head of Homicide at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), told GossipA2Z that a blunt object was likely responsible for the blows.

Nyaguto added, emphasizing the gravity of the situation, that Osinde’s body exhibited injuries consistent with a brutal beating death, particularly around the head.

Former Treasury employee Osinde’s family reported him missing on Thursday, June 22, two days before detectives located his abandoned car in Narok County.

After an exhaustive search for the missing individual, Osinde’s body was discovered in the River Kuja in Migori before being transferred to a morgue.

However, family members were unaware because he was listed at the mortuary as John Doe.

According to police reports, the ex-treasury official’s hands and legs were tied and his head was slashed.

In the interim, two suspects were arrested in connection with the murder. The principal suspect was reportedly spotted driving the deceased’s vehicle days before his body was found.

After the murder, the main suspect admitted to dumping the body in the river. He also led police to the river, indicating where the body had been dumped.

According to the villagers, the suspect fled the village three years before the murder and had only recently returned. The neighbors reported that Osinde requested their assistance in washing the vehicle.

“We did not clean the interior of the vehicle. “We were told it had a great deal of luggage,” one of them said to the press.
