African Leaders Gather in Nairobi for Fertilizer and Soil Health Summit(List)
Several national leaders arrived in Nairobi on Wednesday for the Africa Fertilizer and Soil Health Summit.
On Thursday, the leaders will hold their meeting session.
This marks the second gathering of African leaders in Nairobi in under two weeks.
The summit commenced on Tuesday, inaugurated by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi.
A ministerial session was also held, with ministers from multiple African nations in attendance.

The African Union Assembly’s decision in February this year led to the organization of the summit.
This is the second summit, following the initial one held in Abuja, Nigeria in 2006.
Some leaders arrived on Wednesday, with more expected on Thursday.
The attendees include:
- Faustin-Archange Touadรฉra, President of the Central African Republic
- Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of Malawi
- Hakainde Hichilema, President of Zambia
- Emmerson Mnangagwa, President of Zimbabwe
- Nangolo Mbumba, President of Namibia
- Gervais Ndirakobuca, Prime Minister of Burundi
