A 73-Year-Old Man And His Son Are In Trouble After The Body Of A Sodomized Minor Is Dumped Along The Road
Thursday morning, the body of a 12-year-old boy who is believed to have been sodomized was discovered dumped in Koilel village, Kaptagat ward, Uasin Gishu County. The residents of Koilel village are distraught.
At approximately 7:46 a.m., area residents, led by Koilel village elder Isaac Kibiwot, notified local authorities after observing the occupant of a white Toyota Probox with the registration number KBQ 327W discarding the body before fleeing the scene.
“Officers from Kapsoya led by OCS and DCI Eldoret East visited the scene and discovered the unidentified body of a 12-year-old boy lying dead along the Koilel-Chepkoilel road with injuries to the back of his head and blood oozing from his anus,” according to a police report seen by Citizen Digital.

A 73-Year-Old Man And His Son Are In Trouble After The Body Of A Sodomized Minor Is Dumped Along The Road. The detectives were subsequently able to track the Toyota Probox to the residence of 73-year-old Solomon Kipsang Arap Tarus, who admitted ownership when questioned.
However, Tarus claimed that his 22-year-old son Eric Kiptoo Keiyo had borrowed the vehicle at approximately 6:00 a.m. on the day of the incident to retrieve milk from a nearby dairy.
“Police gained access to Eric Kiptoo Kipsang’s room and recovered blood-stained clothing, a blood-stained pillow, and a blood-stained basin,” according to the police report.
Kipsang was not present, but his father, Taurus, was taken into custody to assist with the investigation.
The minor’s body has been transferred to the mortuary at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital for storage and autopsy.
