    Surge in Extra-Judicial Killings: NHIF Staff, Tom Osinde Among 4 Recent Victims

    Tom Osinde’s death was a mystery.

    Tom Osinde, the brother of the late Ambassador Ken Osinde. Who formerly served as the Chief of Staff in the Office of William Ruto, then the vice president. Was last seen at his residence on Sunday, June 18, before his mysterious disappearance.

    In a shocking turn of events, Osinde’s body was discovered in River Kuja, Migori County, putting an end to the search that had lasted nearly two weeks. The police officers who participated in the search revealed that the body was already decomposing when it was discovered.

    The police report states that the body was discovered in the River Kuja on June 28 and transported to the morgue.

    Enock Nemwel Osinde, the deceased’s brother, confirmed reports that the family positively identified the body.

    “Thank you, friends, for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during the search for my brother. Unfortunately, we did not anticipate this outcome.

    Tom was murdered, and his body was located in the county of Migori. Please continue to pray for us as we attempt to reach an agreement,” Enock pleaded.

    His murderers remain at large as authorities continue to search for clues to solve the heinous crime.

    NHIF staff snipped in broad daylight

    CCTV footage revealed the sequence of events surrounding the death of a female National Health Security Fund (NHIF) employee, which occurred during broad daylight.

    The shooting was determined to be the cause of Lilian Waithera’s death after an autopsy revealed that a bullet was lodged in her lungs following a post-mortem examination. Lilian Waithera met with a tragic end on Monday, February 13.

    Waithera is seen walking along Nairobi’s Kaunda Street with a woman who is presumed to be her coworker in a video clip broadcast by NTV.

    At 5 p.m., the pair is observed walking from Eco Bank to the Jubilee Insurance Building on their way to an Optica store.

    Waithera appears alarmed before collapsing on the side of the road thirteen minutes after walking past the Optica store, but no passerby observes the incident.

    Her colleague then sounds the alarm and seeks assistance from a nearby store, whose employees assist her in contacting an ambulance.

    The responders arrive approximately 25 minutes later and administer first aid to her before transporting her to the hospital. On arrival at the hospital, she is pronounced deceased.

    Months after her burial, the circumstances of her passing have remained secret.

    The passing of IEBC employee Daniel Mbolu Musyoka

    Police in Nairobi county began searching for a missing Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) official on Friday, August 12.

    According to a police report seen by GossipA2Z, the returning officer for the Embakasi East constituency, 50-year-old Daniel Mbolu Musyoka, mysteriously vanished on August 11 at 9 a.m.

    Former IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati confirmed Musyoka’s disappearance on August 12. Chebukati disclosed that Musyoka’s family and the commission were unsuccessful in locating him.

    Daniel Musyoka, our returning officer for Embakasi East, has been reported missing while on duty at the East African School of Aviation tallying center.

    According to reports received by the IEBC, he was escorted from his home to the tallying center yesterday, August 11, at approximately 9 a.m., by his bodyguard.

    “Around 9:45 a.m., he excused himself to make a phone call, but he never returned to the office/tallying center. His family and our attempts to reach him have been fruitless, and the deputy RO is performing his duties.

    “The commission is extremely concerned about this unfortunate incident and has requested that security agents investigate it immediately,” he stated. Former IEBC officials joined the Embakasi East returning officer’s family and friends at Muuani village to pay their respects.

    The family of Mbolu pleaded with the government to provide justice for the death of their matriarch.
