UDA’s Survival at Stake: Ruto Urged to Reconcile with Panyako

A portion of United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party members from Kakamega County. Has requested that their party’s leader, President William Ruto, reconcile with former Vice Chairman Seth Panyako.

Panyako, who resigned from her party position in May. Was the reason UDA gained popularity in Kakamega County, according to the members.

“We are members of the UDA because Panyako brought us together. Ann stated, “We are not pleased with this disagreement, Mr. President; please speak with Panyako; we need you in the upcoming election.”

If the President does not reconcile with the outspoken secretary general of the Kenya Union of Nurses. Another member, Arnold Shisanya, warned that UDA’s popularity in Kakamega could decline.

Without Panyako UDA will perish in Kakamega; therefore, he should not be utilized and discarded. Many leaders in Kakamega were in both UDA and Azimio, but Panyako has always been loyal, so he should be allowed to continue in his position, as stated by Arnold Shisanya.

Other party members requested that the secretary general of the UDA, Cleophas Malala, mediate between the two parties.

“As Secretary General, communicate with Panyako. Collins Adolo stated, “It is not wise for him to leave the party when he has such a large following.”

Panyako cited his position on the Finance Bill 2023 as the reason for his rift with Ruto. The leader of the UDA party.

“He (Ruto) told me that he was under pressure from Malala and others. To expel me from UDA for opposing government policies. Panyako stated after his resignation, “I asked him what his plan was, and he told me that things cannot continue as they are…that I must leave UDA.”
