Pastor’s Wife Sarah Appears in Court to Support Embattled Husband in Signature Dress
Pastor Ezekiel Odero will be in court on May 2, and his wife Sarah Wanzu has been by his side since his arrest.
Sarah, the co-founder of New Life Church, is currently running the church following Ezekiel’s arrest and has announced the suspension of services until further notice.
During Ezekiel’s trial, Sarah appeared in court alongside her spiritual father, Pastor Pius Muiru, and other church members.
Pastor Ezekiel Odero’s wife, Sarah Wanzu, has been a loving and supportive partner during the days he has spent in police custody.
Sarah assists Pastor Ezekiel. Pastor Ezekiel will appear in court on May 2 regarding the alleged indoctrination and deaths of his church members.
On Friday, April 28, the founder of the New Life Church was transported to the Shanzu Law Courts.
The clergyman sported a long white robe and a composed demeanor as he contemplatively observed his attorney Jared Magolo argue against the prosecution’s request to extend his detention by 30 days.

Sarah, Pastor Pius Muiru, Ezekiel’s spiritual father, and a few church members were present in court.
The co-founder of the New Life Church appeared sad as she observed the court proceedings.
Sarah wore her signature red and white dress to church, as she always does.
Sarah announced on Saturday, April 29 that the church would remain closed while investigators continue to investigate the conduct of the senior pastor.
She stated that the decision was influenced by the need to allow investigators sufficient time to conduct their investigation.
“Because the authorities are conducting investigations, I am here to assure you that there is nothing sinister going on, but we will not have services tomorrow and the following day.”
“It is important that we allow the authorities to conduct their investigations. You have likely heard numerous claims in the media and elsewhere. Not only New Life Church is involved. Several churches are being investigated, she was quoted as saying by Citizen TV.
The family of Pastor Ezekiel opposed their relationship with Sarah
Previously, GossipA2Z reported that Ezekiel disclosed that certain members of his family disapproved of his relationship with Sarah.
They opposed his marriage to her.
According to the famous preacher, his relatives opposed his marriage to Sarah because she lacked education and did not speak English.
Ezekiel stated that he did not consider his relatives’ opinions before marrying his soulmate.
“When I wanted to marry Pastor Sarah, some of my friends informed me that she had never attended school. She speaks no English. What will they say if you marry her and important people show up? When I looked at my wife, I did not see English, but rather a beautiful woman capable of managing a ministry. English cannot manage a ministry!” he exclaimed.
Ezekiel also disclosed that Sarah completed Class 3 of schooling.
