RwandAir to Launch Direct Flights to Paris.
Dar es Salaam. RwandAir, operates three weekly flights from Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro to Kigali. It has announced that it will launch its first direct flights to Paris in June of this year.
The airline announced yesterday that passengers flying from Kigali to Paris will arrive at their destination in eight and a half hours, with flights scheduled to begin on June 27 of this year.
Yvonne Makolo, the chief executive officer of RwandAir, stated, “The launch of our first flights to Paris is an exciting step in our ongoing expansion and a testament to the significance of French-Rwandan relations.”

“France is a major hub for RwandAir, as we connect Africa and Europe via our home hub in Kigali to one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations, Paris. French tourists can anticipate a warm welcome.”
Ms. Makolo stated that Rwanda’s horticultural and agricultural industries have strong connections and markets in France.
The return flight with the most convenient connections departs Charles de Gaulle (CDG) Airport at 21:30 on Thursdays and Saturdays. Arrives in Kigali at 0600 the following morning.
The flight to Dar es Salaam departs Kigali at 11:35. Taxes are included, and fares in economy class from Dar es Salaam to Paris start at $561 return. Business-class fares from Dar es Salaam to Paris, including taxes, begin at $1893 round-trip.
