A number of prominent leaders, including former Baringo Senator Gideon Moi and Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi, gathered in Trans Nzoia County for the traditional engagement ceremony of Senator Allan Chesang and his long-time partner, Channelle Kittony.
The event was filled with joy as the couple warmly mingled with their guests, who included both top politicians and respected business figures.

Channelle Kittony looked stunning in a soft pink dress that paired perfectly with Senator Chesang’s stylish tan and brown outfit, topped off with a matching brown hat.
Unlike many high-profile Kenyan weddings, this celebration was intimate and low-key. Photos shared by attendees online showed a smaller crowd, giving the ceremony a more personal and exclusive feel.

Kittony currently serves as the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Public Works, Roads, and Infrastructure in Trans Nzoia. She comes from a well-known political and business family — her father is Rift Valley businessman Kiprono Kittony, and her grandmother is Zipporah Kittony, a former Senator and longtime chair of the Maendeleo Ya Wanawake Organisation (MYWO).
Zipporah Kittony was active in politics for nearly 30 years, serving as a KANU Member of Parliament from 1988 to 2007, and later as a nominated senator from 2013 to 2018.
MP Oscar Sudi praised the couple, calling Channelle the daughter of a good friend and wishing the two a joyful future together.
“I was happy to attend the engagement of Trans Nzoia Senator Allan Chesang and Channelle Kittony,” Sudi said. “I wish them a life full of love, happiness, and unity as they begin this exciting chapter.”
