Pastor Comes with Stones to Church Rigathi Gachagua Was Attending, Preaches About Cabinet(Video)
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua visited the Presbyterian Church of East Africa Kayole Parish, where a pastor preached about the government’s choice to keep certain Cabinet secretaries in their positions.
The pastor used biblical references, comparing the Temple to the State House and depicting stones as a symbol for Cabinet secretaries.
He elaborated that while stones are noisy at the quarry during their preparation, those that are already shaped and ready for specific roles remain quiet and prepared for their duties.

“When Solomon was putting up this Temple, as you are putting the State House, there was no noise from the chisel because the stones were dressed from the quarry first. Meaning, in the site, it is just a building but in the quarry, that is where there is a lot of noise because of dressing,” he began.
The pastor made it clear that he wasn’t giving direct advice to the deputy president. Instead, he stressed the importance of having “already dressed stones” in leadership positions. This suggests that Gen Z needs seasoned individuals who are fully prepared for their roles, rather than those still in the process of development.
“Go to the quarry and work on the stones there before proceeding to the site. We have seen messes after you brought in some stones that were not fully dressed and out of them, there is a lot of noise, which should not be there. If you see this stone, it is dressed and fashioned for a particular job. You are working on a Cabinet, bring in dressed stones so they can function in their positions.”
“We have told you what to do and will be watching. Gen Z has also stated that they want fashioned stones,” he added.
