Miguna Miguna Blasts Ruto Over Five Failed Decisions

Controversial attorney Miguna Miguna has now opposed President William Ruto, criticizing a string of choices he considers detrimental to the welfare of Kenyan citizens.

On Thursday, the attorney conveyed that Ruto’s leadership was plagued by controversies, making it challenging for him to fully endorse it.

Miguna specifically pointed out several problematic issues, including the ongoing doctors’ strike, the scandal involving counterfeit fertilizers, the controversy surrounding the deployment to Haiti, and the stance taken regarding Iran’s attack on Israel.

“I voted for President William Ruto and supported his UDA Party against Azimio in the 2022 general and presidential elections,” he stated.

“However, on the doctorsโ€™ strike, the fake fertilizer scandal, the Haitian imbroglio, retrogressive support for Israel, the tribal composition of the KK regime, and other scandals, I, General Miguna Miguna unequivocally say no.”

He additionally compared the current administration to that of ex-President Uhuru Kenyatta, with whom he had clashed multiple times.

“Democracy, accountability, transparency in public affairs, equity, and constitutionalism are not negotiable,” he added.

“Once any regime crosses the RED LINE, patriots and revolutionaries must PROTECT the public interests.”

His expression of sorrow followed closely after the leader of the nation had criticized Iran’s choice to fire missiles at Israel, appearing to express solidarity with Israel.

“Kenya is deeply concerned by Iran’s attack on the State of Israel. This disturbing development only serves to aggravate an already delicate situation in the Middle East,” Ruto stated.

“The attack represents a real and present threat to international peace and security, contravenes the Charter of the United Nations, and should be condemned by all peace-loving countries,” he added.

In the meantime, the nation is caught in a doctors’ strike lasting four weeks, causing services nationwide to grind to a halt and igniting a power struggle between union leaders and law enforcement officers.

On the contrary, small-scale farmers face the possibility of experiencing meager crop yields due to being deceived with counterfeit fertilizers, falsely presented as legitimate subsidized options pledged by the government.
