iPhone Designer Crafts Coronation Logo for King Charles

Buckingham Palace has revealed the official logo for King Charles III’s coronation, which will be featured in street parties, social media, and souvenirs.
Sir Jony Ive, renowned for his innovative designs of Apple devices including the iPhone, designed it.

Sir Jonathan explains that the floral design highlights the “hopefulness of spring” and reflects the King’s affinity for nature.
“The design was inspired by King Charles’s love of the planet, nature, and his deep concern for the natural world,” said the former Apple design guru, who is more commonly known for sleek tech designs of iMacs and iPods.

The logo, which will be used for events during the coronation long weekend in May, features a rose, thistle, daffodil, and shamrock – national symbols of the United Kingdom.
It contrasts with the stark design of the new King Charles stamps unveiled this week, which lack a crown or any other embellishment.
The logo, which is also available in Welsh, is the most recent detail to be revealed regarding the planned coronation celebrations, which will be held at Westminster Abbey on 6 May.
The day will include a carriage procession and traditional appearances on the Buckingham Palace balcony, but it is still unknown who will be present; the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s attendance have not yet been confirmed.
On Sunday, May 7, Windsor Castle will host a music concert and light show; this week, a public ballot for the 10,000 free tickets available for the event opened.
Monday, May 8 will be an additional holiday, with events highlighting the work of volunteers.
