“Baby Joy for Kate & Rio: Expecting Second Child”
KATE FERDINAND and her husband Rio are expecting their second child together.
On Sunday morning, the former The Only Way Is Essex star confirmed the news on Instagram.
Kate, 31, married footballer Rio, 44, in 2019, and the couple already have a two-year-old son, Cree.
The actress is now expecting her second child, and she flaunted her baby bump in a sweet Instagram video.
Kate, who is also Rio’s stepmother to her three children Lorenz, 16, Tate, 14, and Tia, 11, looked radiant as she revealed her growing belly.
She was seen walking away from the camera before turning and removing her coat to reveal her pregnancy.
Kate looked elegant in a long black gown, knee-high boots, and a designer bag slung over her shoulder.
As she applied makeup, the expectant mother pulled her blonde hair back into a neat updo.
“We’ve been praying for you,” Kate captioned the post, prompting her fans to congratulate her.
Her former Towie co-stars were among them, including Georgia Kousoulou, who wrote, “So, so happy for you.”

“Omg, amazing news,” Lauren Pope said, while Saffron Lempriere simply said, “Beautiful.”
Vicky Pattison of Geordie Shore penned: “Oh my goodness, babe! “Congratulations!” exclaimed Love Island’s Monata Brown, before adding, “Stop! This is incredible! Congratulations!”
It comes after Kate revealed last year that she was “devastated” by a heartbreaking miscarriage.
Kate, who gave birth to her son Cree with Rio in 2020, shared a black and white photo of herself in a hospital gown.
In an emotional caption to her Instagram followers, she revealed she had suffered a “devastating” miscarriage with her second child.
“So much to say, but I’m at a loss for words. I’m devastated and heartbroken.”
“Couldn’t have been more grateful for the hugs I got from my big(er) babies [Lorenz, Tate, and Tia] coming through the door when we got home,” she said.
