Willis Raburu Departs TV47: Shocking Exit from Cape Media
Esteemed media figure Willis Raburu has departed from TV47, a television station owned by Cape Media.
Raburu joined the network eight months ago and was elevated to the position of Director of Digital Services and Innovation just a few months later.
A top source who spoke to Gossipa2z.com verified Raburu’s exit, which occurred just a few days after he paused his show, The Wabebe Experience.
“As I bid farewell to the TV47 family, I am filled with a sense of pride and gratitude for the remarkable growth we’ve achieved together over the past few months,” part of his farewell message reads as quoted by a report.
On April 6, Willis revealed that the TV show would be going on a seasonal hiatus and would be back at a later time.
“We would like to announce that Wabebe Experience will be taking a season break. We sincerely thank our viewers for their continued support and enthusiasm.
“Rest assured, we are working diligently behind the scenes to come back bigger and better than ever! Stay tuned for updates on our return! We love you and appreciate you so much,” he stated.

“This partnership shows their commitment to diversity, quality, and excellence, and I’ll be joining a team that continues to exhibit and grow these amazing tenets. Buckle your seatbelts! We are in for an amazing ride.”
Before joining TV47, where he hosted several programs, Raburu worked at the Royal Media Services (RMS).
Among the shows he hosted was the 10/10 show, which aired every Friday night after the 9:00 pm news broadcast. He also occasionally presented the Day Break Show and the lunch-hour news.
His extensive career in the media industry spans 13 years at RMS, where he honed his expertise in industry trends.
