Uhuru Kenyatta: Night Raid Plot to Frame My Son with Guns and Drugs!
Days after police raided the home of Jomo Kenyatta, the son of former President Uhuru Kenyatta, the former head of state has again commented on the incident, alleging that there was a plan to plant guns and drugs on him during the Friday night operation.
Mr. Kenyatta addressed the alleged cache of firearms allegedly held by his two sons, Jomo and Muhoho, during a meeting with news editors on Monday.
He told senior journalists, “This gun issue is surrounded by a great deal of propaganda to divert attention from what has been occurring.”
“I believe they wanted to plant drugs and guns in my son’s compound.”
Kenyatta, indignant, claims the incident has harmed him.
He stated, “I went due to a distress call from my son; I was not drunk, but severely injured.”
The former president asserts that each of his two sons legally owns three firearms, for a total of six registered firearms. His daughter Ngina does not own a firearm, he clarified.

According to the former president, none of the boys have been ordered to surrender their firearms, as the media and senior government officials have reported.
After the raid on the home of the younger Kenyatta, the government confirmed raiding three residences in Nairobi’s Karen neighborhood in search of 23 firearms allegedly used in illegal operations during the ongoing anti-government protests.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki stated that security agencies had been tasked with searching the area as part of a larger operation to root out civilian gun owners and gang leaders.
“This afternoon, an operation targeted three homesteads in the Karen region where a total of 23 firearms, some of which are believed to have been used in illegal activities, were kept,” CS Kindiki said in a statement published on Friday night.
Kenyatta also disclosed that he had to share his security with his mother, Mama Ngina Kenyatta after her protection was revoked last week.
“The benefits my mother receives are not due to me, but to her status as a former First Lady,” he explained.
We must employ private security personnel.
