UDA Secretary General Claims Facebook Page Hacked; Names Suspect Brian Khaniri

UDA acting Secretary General Cleophas Malala has claimed that the party’s official Facebook page has been hacked.

Who is the person that hacked the UDA facebook page?

In a video seen by Gossipa2z.com, Malala said the page was hacked by an unknown individual named Brian Khaniri, who is not a member of the UDA secretariat.

“We also want to announce that our official communication platform, that is, UDA’s official Facebook page, has been hacked.”

He further urged Kenyans to ignore any communication made on that page, asserting that reports have been made to Facebook administrators about the situation.

“I am sure that our Facebook and social media handles will be restored in a while,” he said.

However, Dennis Itumbi, President William Ruto’s digital strategist, took to his social media handles to ask Kenyans to ignore Malala’s claims.

He asserted that UDA’s pages are secure across all social media platforms.

Cleophas Malala hits back at Oscar Sudi

United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Secretary-General Cleophas Malala has taken a jab at Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, a day after the lawmaker mocked him.

On Wednesday, May 29, Malala reprimanded several high-ranking UDA members for alleged misconduct, specifically singling out Sudi.

A defiant Sudi did not let it go, using the X social network to launch a tirade against Malala, questioning his ability to effectively lead the ruling party and give orders to its members.

Implying that Malala was an inadequate secretary-general, Sudi described him as “an elevated MCA suffering from illusory superiority, believing he matches Raphael Tuju’s caliber.”

What did Malala tell Sudi?

The former Kakamega senator later responded, seemingly questioning the lawmaker’s proficiency in communicating complex English jargon.

While Malala’s response seemed to pardon Sudi, many interpreted it as a subtle attack on the outspoken lawmaker.
