Trump Claims Biden’s Withdrawal from Election Was a ‘Coup,’ Criticizes Harris as Failed Candidate
Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for President, has asserted that Joe Biden was compelled to withdraw from the election campaign due to what he describes as a coup.
In a recent interview with Fox Business, Trump suggested that Biden’s exit from the race was not a simple choice but a result of significant pressure.
Trump claimed that Biden, who had secured 14 million votes and campaigned vigorously for a year, was ousted after a strong performance in the primary, leading to his eventual removal.
According to Trump, Biden was given an ultimatum: leave voluntarily or face more severe consequences. The choice was presented as either an “easy way” or a “hard way,” with Biden opting to step down as a result.

Trump criticized the decision to replace Biden with Kamala Harris, the current Vice President, labeling her as a failed candidate.
This move, Trump argued, reflects a broader issue of political maneuvering rather than democratic choice.
The interview highlighted Trump’s belief that the circumstances surrounding Biden’s departure from the race were indicative of deeper political instability.
The presidential election is set for November 5. Despite Biden’s initial position as the leading Democratic candidate, his performance in a televised debate against Trump on June 27 sparked increased pressure from within the Democratic Party for him to withdraw.
The debate, which was widely criticized, played a pivotal role in the growing calls for Biden to step aside.
By July 21, Biden had decided to end his reelection campaign and endorsed Harris as the new Democratic candidate, marking a significant shift in the political landscape.
